IMAGEM processes personal data of its customers, prospects, partners and applicants. IMAGEM does this to support you to the best of its capabilities through our products, services and/or events. This privacy statement, which is in line with our general terms and conditions, explains why and how IMAGEM processes your personal data.

We process your personal data…

  • To properly execute the agreement between us.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.
  • If you have given your explicit permission.
  • Based on a legitimate interest by informing existing customers after purchase of one of our products or services.

Personal data that we process

Purposes of Processing

  • First and last name.
  • (Business) address details.
  • Gender.
  • Function.
  • (Business) Phone number.
  • (Business) Email address.
  • Bank account details (as a paying customer).
  • Any other personal details that you share actively. Like applying to a form on our website, applying to a newsletter for an event or similar.
  • Anonymous information about your activity on our website.
  • When applying for a job opening your resumé and any other shared information.

Your personal details will only be used…

  • to facilitate business transactions and correspondence between IMAGEM and you.
  • to send you information and/or updates regarding our products and services.
  • to support you if you want to use our support service.
  • to register and inform you as a participant in events and/or training courses.
  • for marketing purposes such as personalized messages/information.
  • for internal analysis purposes.
  • to process your job application.

Categories of recipients

In order to realize the states purposes of processing, we provide your data to suppliers such as our Customer Relations Management (CRM) system, e-mail marketing application, software/licenses, and cookie suppliers. In order to fulfill our delivery obligation when you purchase a software license, we share your data with our supplier(s) located in Europe as well as in the United States.

It is important to note that when your data is processed by recipients other than IMAGEM, we ensure that there is an appropriate level of protection. We do this, among other things, by concluding a processing agreement with these parties and evaluating the level of protection annually. When we receive your personal data from any of our supplier(s), we will of course handle this information with utmost care as described in this privacy statement.

IMAGEM will never sell your data to third parties. This data will only be shared when it is strictly necessary. Such as in the event of execution of our agreement or in order to comply with a legal obligation.

Data retention period

We do not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. Data that is no longer deemed necessary for the processing purposes stated in this privacy statement will be stored up to a maximum of 7 years.

Application letters, curriculum vitae, correspondence and other documents about your job applications are retained from the moment of your application up to a maximum of 4 weeks after the application procedure has ended.

How we protect personal data

IMAGEM takes the protection of your data seriously and undertakes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. If you have the impression that your data is not properly secured, or if there are indications of abuse of your information, please contact CISO@imagem.nl.

Review, modify, or delete data

At all times you have the right to view, correct or delete your own personal data. In addition, you retain the right to withdraw any consent for data processing and to object having your personal details being processed by IMAGEM. Moreover, you also have the right to data protability.

You can submit a request for inspection, correction, deletion, data transfer, cancellation of processing your personal details or removal of your consent to CISO@imagem.nl. Such a request may lead to the fact that we can no longer realize one, or more, of the indicated purposes of processing for you.

To ensure you have submitted the request for inspection yourself, we ask that you enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request. This can be done with a copy of your document with covering your passport photo, and having the Machine Read Zone (MRZ), passport number, and social security number (Dutch: BSN). This is to protect your own privacy. We will respond as quickly as possible, but in any case, within four weeks.

IMAGEM would also like to point out that you have the option to submit a complaint to the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). This can be done through the following link:

Google Analytics

All information is received anonymously based on standardized Google profiles. In it, data can only be traced back to the following types of reports: platform (desktop, mobile, etc.), geolocation (from national to city/town level), language, browser type, resolution used, origin (direct, search, references, social), and AdWords status.

YouTube

All cookie information is received anonymously with the aim of improving the user experience and optimizing the quality of presented videos and displaying them functionally. IMAGEM does not store or sell any personal data to third parties.

Automated decision-making

IMAGEM does not make any decisions based on automated decision processes concerning matters that can have (significant) consequences for you. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without ever involving a person (for example, an IMAGEM employee) in the process.

Version privacy statement

This privacy statement may be subject to change from time to time. When this is the case, IMAGEM will place a new version on the appropriate page.
